Mache is a logistic startup bringing together local restaurants and event organizers. Mache was selected as one of the most promising food-tech startup at the McGill Dobson Cup Finals. Started with a team of 4, we rapidly grew sales to a quarter million in year one by partnering with over 15 food establishments in Montreal. Mache did not have the cash flow to go through the pandemic that destroyed the event industry, ending the life of the company. Mache’s values were ones of diversity, innovation, excellence and low-waste practices, by using reusable home-made wooden trays, having a decentralized system and pushing plant-focused menu to our clientele.
